  Stayed down at the peninsula for the holidays and was looking to buy meat for a spit. Came across this place. Prices were reasonable and the service on the day was fantastic. We were hoping the meat was also good quality, and it was. Shout out to the girl who served us (she had bright colours in her hair) great customer service.

  Regular customer and generally meat and other goods have been A1. Sadly, last bulk purchase included what were supposed to be crumbed lamb cutlets, twenty of them. They were tough and gristly. Almost inedible, and the rest will probably end up in the bin. Very disappointing.
  I’ll be back, but will pay closer attention to what I buy next time.

  Been getting my meat here for the past 5-6 years. Still havent had a bad experiance. From getting them to load my Spit up with my requested cuts to quickly grabbing some snags on my way home from work. You can not go wrong. Everyone of my friends and family get there meat from here.

  As a regular buyer, living local to store, was extremely disappointed with latest purchase. Generally we are happy with meat purchases at this store but at the moment considering a permanent change. Having bought beef brisket here before for slow cooking I have been able to regularly pick up 3-4 kg pieces in store. On odd occasions we have been able to get larger pieces as a walk in, albeit from cool room on request. This time we ordered over a week in advance a 6kg piece, just to be sure. On picking up today we were given 2 x 3kg pieces (which won`t cook like a single piece). On querying this were were told we can only have a 6kg in Wagyu at a much higher price. We were also given the "take it or leave it" option which is probably what rattles my cage. Having ordered in advance it should have been simple to let us know that it could not be done - not leaving it till the day before a function to leave no choice. Anyway - meat quality generally good - this is the first time I have received the attitude here but thinking we will give more back to our other local local butcher and any specials may give Kellys a go in Tooradin - worth the drive....

  Went in the other day to buy a fair bit of meat, was served by a lovely young woman with a big smile, got some meat at the meat counter then went for a bit of a browse as to what else was on the shelves, got what I wanted and walked over to the register to pay and with 4 people in front of me waited patiently to be served, she was so polite to everyone and had polite conversations with us all as she served us, I then noticed there were 4 people at the meat counter tapping their feet and waiting to be served, she said out loud won’t be long as to which a couple of them said no worries, I got to the register and said to her where’s all your staff and she politely said there’s only 2 of us today, I asked where’s the 2nd one, she again politely said out the back cutting meat, I was thinking hers I’d be stressed with everyone waiting but this girl ( Laura ) was professional and happy, she is a credit to your business with qualities that are hard to come by in this day and age, thank you Laura for a pleasant experience, we’ll be back soon
